Welcome to the November 2012 edition of our latest site news for TheCatSite.com! So many things are happening on TCS this month, I hardly know where to begin, so let's jump right into the latest site news!

We're proud to announce the launch of a mobile version for the site. You can now browse the forums on your smartphone or tablet with great ease, using this special version of the site. For now, this is available to all registered users and you need to manually switch over to the mobile version of the site. Very soon, our website will automatically switch over to the right version for everyone browsing it using a mobile device.

This month, our editorial focus is on senior cats, in honor of "Adopt a Senior Pet Month". In an effort to encourage more adoptions of these wonderful felines in need, we have several new articles and features dealing with aging and senior cats.

Contests and Purrizes!

Congratulations!

Congratulations to our member from Holland, jiskefet, who won last month's writing contest. The topic was Feral Cats and she won with her story about A Cat Called Dustbin, now featured in our articles section.

Speaking of raising awareness of feral cats, last month's contest turned out to be the trigger for a new TCS Community Badge for those who help feral cats. Several talented members created possible designs for the badge, and we need your help in choosing one. It's not a contest, but your vote counts all the same, so please click here and vote for the five designs you like the most.

Senior Cats - Submit Your Picture!

Keeping in theme, it's Senior Cats we celebrate in this month's photo contest. We're looking for beautiful pictures of your beautiful cats, and the only requirement is for the cat to have been at least seven years old at the time the picture was taken.

Of course, congratulations are in order to our member redvelvetone, who submitted the winning picture for last month's photo contest. The theme for October was Halloween Kitties and redvelvetone won with this spooky image:
