Speaking of food, pretty soon the holidays will be upon us. As you stuff yourselves with turkey, ham and other delicacies, please be aware that although cooked turkey is yummy for cats, the aluminum foil the turkey is wrapped in while cooking is not. Aluminum foil is toxic to cats, so please keep it away from the feline in your life~

Kitty Bit
Do you have a hard time pilling your cat? Try this trick, using Kraft Easy Cheese (in the spray can). First of all have your kitty at rest. Wake him up by petting him. Have the pill close, and then put a very small amount of spray cheese on your finger (just a dab). Taking your finger, hold it just over the cat's nose, raise your finger slowly. Your cat should follow the scent of the cheese and lift his head up. Once you see the neck is arched, lower your finger, and let the cat have the prize. Then, do the same thing again with a bit more cheese but this time, tuck the pill into the center of the cheese burying it well. Following the same steps as before, when you see the cat’s throat arched, the cheese and the pill will slide right down the throat.
