Those of you with cats whose hair mats easily - try this tip. Next time you are working on a thick unmanageable mat, take a seam ripper and work from the center of the mat outward, carefully pulling apart the stubborn hair. Use a comb to pull the hair up and away from the kitty's skin. Also, to avoid cutting the kitty's skin use blunt-edged bandage scissors for any mat work.

Please do not leave your pet in the car without adequate ventilation. Park your car in the shade if at all possible. Make sure your pet doesn't stay in the car long, because the temperature rises rapidly inside a stationary car. Be sure and have fresh cold water available at all times for your pet if your pet travels with you.

Our hearts go out to all the people in the United Kingdom, who are dealing with the recent bombings and the aftermath of such cowardly acts of terrorism.
